HMIC LLC has published TJ Jung's first nonfiction book. Across thirty-eight short chapters, Canton Sea traces how intent survives handoffs between people, models, machines, and interfaces.

Independent benchmark / 18 September 2026
HMIC measured a practical split between cold reliability and calibrated speed. Qwen3.6-35B-A3B ran 3.82 times faster in the tested deployments, while Qwen3.8-27B retained the stronger untouched holdout result.
Scope: this is a deployment comparison between the named source packages and quant levels. A source-matched Q4/Q6 matrix is in progress to isolate the quantization effect.

HMIC has published a concise definition, recognition kit, boundaries, examples, and related public reference pages for Programmed Interface Compression (PIC): the reduction of repeated messages when an engineered, evolving shared reference carries the necessary meaning.
Scope: this release describes a named pattern and public explanatory material. It does not claim exclusive rights, measured performance, customer adoption, or industry priority.

HMIC has published a technical paper on externally verifiable audit evidence and a free, MIT-licensed reference implementation for deterministic file-set commitments and later verification.
Scope: the paper and software are a reference architecture and demonstration. They do not, by themselves, make a system compliant with 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11, or another regulated requirement.
HMIC is the independent research and publishing studio founded by TJ Jung. It builds inspectable human-AI systems, tests local models in complete working configurations, and publishes the resulting software, benchmarks, videos, and books.
TJ Jung is a systems architect, Senior AI Implementation Engineer, and author of Canton Sea. His work specializes in pipeline automation, model routing, and operator-specific AI systems.
